Baking: Lemon bars

lemon5So I was going through some favorite food blogs and after reading the recipe for lemon bars + thinking over my own ingredients, I decided to try them out. I never thought lemon bars were this easy to make! Gooey, sweet and simple. Ta-daa!

즐겨가는 음식 관련 블로그들이 몇개 있는데 그 중에서 진짜 쉬워보이는 디저트가 있길래 만들어봄. 생각보다 진짜 간단하고 맛있어서 놀랐네.




lemon4Makes one 9X13 inch pan


  1. Butter: 1 cup
  2. White sugar: 1/2 cup (for the base/crust)
  3. White sugar: 1 1/2 cup (for the lemon filling)
  4. All purpose flour: 2 cups (for the base/crust)
  5. All purpose four: 1/4 cup (for the filling)
  6. Eggs: 4
  7. Lemons: 2 (a bit of lemon zest optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 175 C
  2. In a bowl, blend together butter, 2 cups flour and 1/2 sugar. Press it down evenly into the pan as a buttery base/crust.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes until golden. In another bowl, whisk the 1 1/2 sugar and 1/4 flour. Then whisk in the eggs and lemon juice. I added a bit of lemon zest as well, but this is optional. Now pour over the crust.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes. COOL before you cut or put your finger in it. It gets too sticky and trust me, you will regret it.


  1. 오븐은 175도로
  2. 그릇에 버터, 밀가루 2컵, 설탕 1/2컵 섞어서 팬에 쭉쭉 납작하게 눌러담기
  3. 오븐에 15분정도 구워주고 그 동안에 1 1/2설탕+ 1/4 밀가루 섞어주고 여기에 바로 계란과 레몬쥬스를 섞어줍니다. 레몬껍질 약간 넣으면 색도 진해지고 맛도 상큼해짐. 섞은 레몬반죽을 오븐에서 꺼낸 크러스트위에 골고루 쏟아줌.
  4. 다시 20분동안 구워주면 끝! 완벽하게 식기전에 자르거나 손으로 찌르면 너무 찐뜩해져서 불편해집니다. 꼭 식은 후에 자르도록!
